In terms of lessons, Arabic Pod 101 allows you to choose from two types of lessons: audio and video. This way you can choose which better suits your method of studying languages. You can see the newest lessons on the Arabic Pod site via a widget that gives you a small written introduction to the newest lessons.
To see the video options on the Arabic Pod 101 website, click on the “lessons” tab then “lessons library.” Below you will see all the options for lessons on the site. If you select Media type as “video” on the left hand side you’ll only see the video lessons.

There is loads of choice in the video library with loads of different Arabic video topics. From introducing yourself to small talk, you’ll be listening and watching fluent speakers of Arabic that will teach you about not only how to speak Arabic but also about the culture. Arabic Pod 101 has so many topics that it will be hard (if not impossible) to not find something you like or find interesting.
What to expect from the video lessons?
The video lessons are designed to give you another way to learn Arabic vocabulary in a more active way. In the beginners’ Arabic level, each video is fairly short and most are about 2 minutes long. The advanced level videos average about 4-5 mins, still fairly short so perfect for when you don’t have loads of time to sit down and learn Arabic.
Some of the videos incorporate things like quizzes so that there is a question in Arabic and then there is an option to respond to this. At the end of the video you’ll see if you are right. With the video there is also the option for Closed Captions (subtitles) in Arabic by pressing the CC button. 
You can make the video player larger as well as change the playback speed in case you didn’t catch one of the phrases. You are also able to download videos so that you can watch them at a time that is convenient for you on your phone or tablet or anywhere offline.
The benefit for the video lessons is to help people who learn more visually and hopefully improve recall. Learning any language is hard and Arabic is very hard so you need all the help that you can get!
